Alaska King Salmon
The Alaska King Salmon is the most sought after fish in our waters. King Salmon are also known as Chinook Salmon and Tyee Salmon.
The waters off of Craig, Alaska and the West Coast of Prince of Wales Island are the feeding grounds for almost every King Salmon run from California to Alaska. With so many fish passing through, you have an excellent shot at catching them every day you are here all season long.
Chrome bright kings average 25 pounds and trophies exceeding 50 pounds are landed each season. King Salmon are aggressive and abundant from mid- May through mid-August.
The current non-resident limit is 1 king daily and 3 fish annually.
