Steelhead and Trout

As awesome as the saltwater sportfishing is out of Craig, Alaska the freshwater steelhead fishing on Prince of Wales Island is equally spectacular.  There are countless rivers, lakes and streams throughout the island where you can access uncrowded freshwater angling.

We hold a permit to access these pristine waters within the Tongass National Forest.  We provide you with all the finest equipment from fly rods to waders.  Just bring a sense of adventure and we'll do the rest.

Custom steelhead and trout trips are available from late-April through mid-May.  Freshwater salmon fishing is best from late-July through October.

We practice catch and release on all freshwater species.
