As we welcome a New Year it's time to start thinking about the upcoming fishing season. The days are getting longer and very soon the king salmon will be showing up in good numbers.
2010 should be a very exciting year. Our first return of five year old king salmon is expected right here in Port St. Nicholas. These fish should be 25 - 40 lbs. with some even larger. If it is at all like last year the fishing should be getting good in April and continue through June. We are also expecting another very good run of silver salmon. This season is shaping up to be one of the best we have had in several years. Keep checking back as more information becomes available.
