Prince of Wales Island Steelhead, Salmon and trout fishing is conducted on countless rivers, lakes and streams throughout the Tongass National Forest. Some of the major systems include the Thorne River and Staney Creek.  While more remote waters provide uncrowded flyfishing access to wild steelhead, four species of salmon and a variety of trout.  The wild surroundings, old growth forests and abundant wildlife enhance any day spent on the water.

We provide you with top quality fly rods and reels from G. Loomis and outfit you with waders, boots and flies.  Our guides are knowledgeable instructors and work well with all ages and abilities.  A day or two of flyfishing is a great addition to your saltwater fishing adventure.

Steelhead and rainbow trout fishing is excellent from late March - early May and freshwater salmon fishing is best from late July through October.
